Sandyford Business District promotes investment in the district, both FDI and indigenous to attract international and national businesses. With over 46,451 sq.m. (500,000 sq.ft.) of office space currently under construction and major projects in planning/development, the district is ideally placed to accommodate companies of all sizes.

The attractiveness of the district for employers is set to increase, with the announcement of the collaboration with us at Cycling Solutions Ireland, the sole national coordinator appointed by the European Cyclists’ Federation to deliver the European Standard Cycle Friendly Accreditation here in Ireland.

The current environment and climate challenges are now shared by every employer, employee and resident of Sandyford Business District -The time has come to decarbonise how resident companies operate. SBD are now asking all employers to sign up to make their workplace a Cycle-Friendly Workplace and help to make SBD Ireland’s First Cycle-Friendly Business District. With 26,000 employees on site, a coordinated shift towards sustainable commuting by bike will transform the complexion of one of the country’s busiest and most lucrative business districts.

All of us at Cycling Solutions Ireland can’t wait to get to work with the employers and employees of Sandyford Business District to make this transformation a reality.
